What a lunch hour I had had today, thrift store fans! Look at all the goodies I got!
And yes, they are real ice skating boots, and they were a bargain! The yellow bag I plan on saving for spring – I’m now on the lookout for a vintage yellow belt and a brown and white print dress to team it with.
I’ve been looking for a navy handbag for ages and couldn’t resist the cute ruched wrist gloves that were sitting alongside!
And as for these little beauties – I haven’t decided whether to keep them or ebay them – it will probably depend on how comfortable they are – but Mis Sixty ankle boots barely worn – look at them! Aren’t they pretty? Don’t you love the big brass stud on the ankle? Aren’t the half-cone heels fab? I love them!
Oh, and the vintage M&S bag’s a real gem too, though I wish the strap were longer.
And just for the record, what I wore today:
Beret: Primark, buttons added by me
Coat: thrifted, embroidery and buttons added by me
Black belt: Primark
Red bag: Primark
Grey wool tights: Boots Tights Boutique
Red boots: Fly London
Black slip (just seen): thrifted M&S
Grey and black dress: M&S
Black shrug cardi: George at Asda when I was in sixth form! I think I have worn it to death for the last 10 years!
Black full satin skirt with net underlay(just seen): Primark
I found if I didn’t add the skirt underneath the dress had a less flattering shape!
OMG! those miss sixty boots are GORGEOUS! how much did you pay for ‘em?
Really good and really interesting post. I expect (and other readers maybe
) new useful posts from you!
Good luck and successes in blogging!
Oh, wonderful!

My compliments!
