I’m visiting home (the Midlands) this weekend. I had a fairly successful night selling fairies at an indoor Victorian street market last night, and today was in the mood to spend a wee bit of it – so I hit the charity shops of Stafford town centre!
I don’t have my digi camera with me so pics are to follow, but I got a beautiful vintage 60s barely worn green pure wool cape coat for £10.99 – I am so excited about wearing it out and about this winter! I also picked up a vintage 80s black velvet Laura Ashley dress which I plan on dressing down with patent flats and my patent belt. Those were my purchases for myself.
For ebay I got a couple of vintage black full slips, a brilliant 40s inspired 80s wiggle dress with pleat-tucked waist and shoulder pads, a vintage 70s velvet bow tie, a fishtailed velvet rose print evening dress, a brown, French Connection, pure new wool skirt with pleats from a drop-waist and a gorgeous 60s plum velvet cropped tailored jacket which I promptly sold to my Mum for the £1 I paid for it!
Another great haul! I really should stop now though…
