Before Elena arrived for an evening of pink wine, girly dvds and pasta bake yesterday I had the chance to nip into town for shopping, and I had JUST enough time to nip into one single charity shop. Where I found a fabulous handbag (I’ve needed a blue one for a while now, and LOVE the tapestry pattern and unusual clasp) and some great brown old lady shoes. I’ve wanted some Oxford-style shoes for a while, but refused to pay high street prices for something I was certain I’d eventually find second hand. Looks like I was right! These are very comfortable, with padded soles and slight wedges. I’m chuffed!
And onto today’s outfit. Got a bit of a sailor thing going on again.
Wide-leg jeans: Dorothy Perkins; stripy vest top: charity shop (vintage 80s); cropped jacket: charity shop (Denim & Co); navy canvas flats: Primark
Love the outfit; the cropped jacket is so cute!

Can I give you a ‘photo in the mirror’ tip? Shut the curtains behind you and put the light on. Sounds madness I know but when I have the bathroom door open behind me & it’s daylight, I come out really dark in the picture. It’s much better if the door is closed and the light comes from the window at the side of me and the overhead light.
Great charity shop finds by the way. Saturday must have been the day for it as I found some chunky flat boots that I’ve wanted for a while.
