By the time I actually went out last night I was feeling the cold, so tried out my new shrug, bought in a Crouch End charity shop last weekend. I particularly like the way it fastens quite high above the bust, as it enables me to create a sort of peep-hole when worn with a scoop or v-neck. I took a pic when I got in – apparently two glasses of wine inspire some rather unusual (and blurry!) posing!

And this is what I’m wearing for Saturday afternoon with Jess. I imagine there’ll be shopping, possibly coffee and cake or possibly a trip to the White Horse – though I was planning on taking her there for some dinner later…  I guess we’ll see where the day takes us!
