Back in the office after a fortnight’s break always
needs a bit of colour to brighten the mood!
Dress: Primark via charity shop; belt: Topshop; shoes: Primark; cardigan: Dotty P’s
You have been so very pateint with me of late, with my odd absences and dead airtime. But if you’ll just hang on in there a little longer, I have at least a fortnight of fantastic photos to share with you, I promise!
I spent most of the previous fortnight north of the border in beautiful, historic Scotland. And when it came to uploading my holiday photos last night I realised I might have gone a little overboard, and perhaps did not need all 800…
So, the arduous task of editing the holiday snaps commenced, and by 10pm I’d only 520 left to go… You may look forward to photos including:
- Walking from Bridge of Allan to Dunblane – featuring the cave which inspired Benn Gunn’s home in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
- Pictish stone carvings on the Dupplin Cross and at the Miegle Museum
- Afternoon tea at the Ballathie House Hotel
- Sherrifmuir battlefield, Balquidder and walking in the Trossachs
- Chasing golden eagles and cup and ring marks near Kenmore, walking at Allt a’ Bhealach and the Falls of Acharn, and the Scottish Crannog Centre
- Red squirrels, The Falls of Dochart and the Breadalbane Folklore Centre
- Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and the Glencoe Lochan
- Sea eagles at Ardnamurchan Point, and its marvellous lighthouse
- Glenfinnan and Fort William
- An archaeological dig at Forteviot
- Aberfoyle, Doon Hill and Inchmahome Priory
- Walking at Ben Ledi, Loch Lubnaig, Bochastle and Stank Glen
- Castle Campbell and Alloa Tower
- North Berwick beach and Edin’s Hall Broch
- Abbotsford!
And yes, we did cram quite a lot into our 12 days away…
I see your 800 and raise you 2000! Just back from Florida with 2000 holiday snaps, somewhat excessive I fear!
Look forward to reading about your trip.
Right back atcha – and 2000? WOW! The “problem” with digital, eh?! 😀
