Rannoch Moor is essentially a big bog, fifty square miles of National Heritage moorland providing habitat for spectacular wildlife – some exclusive to the Moor itself.
It’s also spectacularly beautiful.
We crossed the Moor early on a Sunday morning, when few other cars were on the roads. Which made the fabulous rainbow we encountered feel all the more special.
